Sewer cleaning can be defined as the process of cleaning sewer pipelines that carry wastewater from homes and or businesses. The City of Minneapolis requires the stop box to be operable at all times. The stop box houses the valve that is used to turn the water service on or off. It is usually located in the boulevard area. The stop box is operated on for a number of reasons: turn off water to complete inside plumbing repairs or remodels, discontinue service due to a sale of the property or failure to pay water utility bill. If the water line is copper the stop box can be repaired. If the water service is lead galvanized steel repair isn't an option and a new water line will be required to be installed.
A manhole is an opening to a confined space such as a shaft, utility vault, or large vessel. Manholes are often used as an access point for an underground public utility, allowing inspection, maintenance, and system upgrades.
A storm drain, storm sewer, surface water drain/sewer, or stormwater drain is infrastructure designed to drain excess rain and ground water from impervious surfaces such as paved streets, car parks, parking lots, footpaths, sidewalks, and roofs.
A dry well tank is an underground structure that disposes of unwanted water. It is a covered, porous-walled chamber that allows water to slowly soak into the ground.
Cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP) lining is a method of trenchless rehabilitation and restoration used in the repair of existing pipes. CIPP lining uses a textile liner tube and a liquid resin. CIPP lining is a jointless, seamless, pipe-within-a-pipe with the capability to rehabilitate pipes with many different diameters. We service sewer lines that are 4" and up to 6".
Typically we excavate one hole on the house side of the curb and install the CIPP Liner from our excavation either out towards the street and or back towards the building.
